HEATING YOUR RV

A small tip that may cut down on your propane for heating your RV.

I use a oil fill heater that I bought at Wal-Mart, for about $40.00 dollars.  So far it is working fine, really cuts down on propane.  Last year I was going thru propane every two weeks.  Now with the heater I can go for 6 to 8 weeks with out a refill.  Once the heater is turned on it will keep a 30 foot travel trailer nice and warm.  If your trailer is cold you will have to use the propane furnace to get the temp. up.  Some trailer are equipped with a electric heater in their a/c unit, But if your trailer doesn’t have one, this little unit works great.  In colder weather it will keep your furnace from turning on so much to keep your unit warm.

Problems?  The only problem I have encountered is when we use the microwave when the heater is turned on,  it blows the breaker.
